Star Oil Tools Inc. has designed a true "wellhead compressor" with full bore configuration and full wellhead pressure rating that allows unrestricted wellbore access through the compressor for workovers or pressure treatments. This system reduces the footprint of the wellhead installations and allows for the economical production of the casing gas where not possible due to high production line pressures.

The StarStroker has been designed to provide a very large retrieving force on a pulling or fishing tool engaged with an object (fish) in the well bore, without exerting any load on the wireline itself. An electro-mechanical actuator powered by an electric gear motor generates the retrieving force.
