EXTERNAL STARBOOST COMPRESSOR

The standard StarBoost compressor is a centrifugal type of compressor able to handle dry or wet gases. The compressor has a modular configuration that allows the flexibility of adding multiple compressor stages and a choice of variable speed electric or hydraulic power drives.
The basic StarBoost compressor has a 3,000psi pressure rating with an operating temperature range of -55C to +200C, up to 600psi pressure boost and flow rates of up to 3,000 scfm.
The compressor is direct driven (no transmission), it has an automatic start and stop feature and it starts under pressure with no need for human intervention. The compressor can be supplied in flanged or threaded configuration for wellhead or casing line installations.

INTERNAL STARBOOST COMPRESSOR

The StarBoost compressor works in conjunction with downhole gas separators to increase the efficiency of the downhole pumps, to maximize the recovery of gas and to boost the inflow of formation fluids by maintaining a continuous low casing pressure.
The flow line and casing line pressures are monitored and the compressor's speed is automatically adjusted with the well's requirements. This function is programmable and automatic.
When the StarBoost compressor is used in conjunction with a StarJet pump, the energy of the compressed gas will lower the wellhead pressure and in the same time it will increase the line pressure, pushing the oil and gas down the production line, to the process facilities.
